How is kalakaar different from Fiverr or Upwork?+
We don't have an open marketplace. Every creator is hand-reviewed, and we send shortlists — not 80-proposal mass bidding. It's slower to onboard, but the quality is night-and-day different.
What if I don't like the proposals?+
We'll re-curate at no cost, or refund you. We'd rather match you with the right person than book you with the wrong one.
Can I work with creators outside Indore?+
Yes. Kalakaar launched in Indore but we're already curating creators in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata. More cities every month.
How are payments handled?+
Through escrow. You pay kalakaar when you accept a proposal. We release the funds to the creator when you confirm delivery. Full GST invoice generated for both sides.
